I would like to use this plot to display where one individual is relative to the larger group. Is there any way to show one individual point while hiding the rest?

All you have to do to display the single data point on a Violin chart is to use Graph Builder and plot points on top of the Contour(Violin) plot. Then just go to the data table and hide all rows you don't want displayed. You can do the same from the graph, by selecting all of the points you don't want displayed and then hiding them there too.
