Apparently the version of JMP I am using (19.1.4) no longer provides exected counts when doing a ch-square goodness-of-fit test for a single categorical variable when using a table of counts and Analyze > Distribution. Any way to recover them (without needing to explicitly enter the calculations in a data table?

Are you using the counts in the Freq analysis role in the Distribution launch dialog? Is your response using the nominal or ordinal modeling type? You don't see the Test Probabilities command in the red triangle menu next to your response?
