How to interactlvely add a label value, from specific column, above a data point in graph builder on JMP18

I have multi row/column data in JMP (18). Using graph builder I have plotted a trend plot. Now I want values from another column (describing the splits in the experiment) to appear over the corresponding data point. How to do this interactively once the graph is plotted using graphh builder?

Hi,

One approach would be to select your annotation column and set it as Label (right-click --> Label)

Then, in Graphbuilder, choose the layer (points or bars) and choose Label by Rows in the Label submenu (left side of the GraphBuilder main frame).

There is no simple means to affect the font style of the labels. The only trick I know to make the labels bigger (not bold) is to increase the overall font size using the SHIFT + CTRL + PLUS keys on your keyboard.

There is a rather complex alternative using scripting, but you would need to retrieve the data coordinates on the graph via script, assign the text label recursively, and format the text all within the script.
