Hi,

Is there a way for me and a collegue to work on the same JMP file in real time?

We have JMP 17.

If you mean "can two people have the same data table open and both be able to edit and save results without clobbering each other's edits," no, JMP does not allow more than one user to open a data table with write permission. Additional users can only read the table. They won't be able to save it because that could revert another user's changes.

I'm pretty sure the google sheet does let multiple users of the same sheet see the other users changes as they happen. I'm pretty sure the google sheet can be fetched as a csv that JMP can read.

You could also use a database, though it would be a bit more involved. It could have a web page front-end, and JMP could create a table from the data base.

JMP can also dierctly import from Google Sheets with

File-> Internet Open-> Google Sheets...

However iit does it edit the sheet in place.

I just remembered when you have a JMP table you can do

File-> Export and choose Google Sheets
