    <description>&lt;P&gt;I only want to add a minor addition since you use JMP 19 already. With JMP 19 there was functionality added to have multiple y-axis.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just define both graphs on top of each other by drag and dropping them like this and select parallel y-axis in the red triangle drop down menu:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am trying to plot two variables (a and b) on the same Y axis using JMP 19. I want one to be a line and the other to be a bar. I found this impossible to do with the same Y-axis. I have to make either a top y-axis or a left y-axis. Is this impossible in JMP?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How does your data look like? What is variable: different columns or grouping column with different values?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you drag both columns to the Y axis, you can add the line and bar, and then specify which columns(variables) that the line and bar should be displayed for each&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here is an example using the Big Class data table where height is displayed as a line value and weight as a bar&lt;/P&gt;
