Hi @NourNashed,

Here are the options I would use:

Save Columns (Prediction Formula), and as suggested by @txnelson use the Graph Builder to plot the response surface model depending on two factors (use two factors as X and Y variables, Prediction Formula as Color, and click on Contour icon to display the prediction surface response). Example here on Borehole uniform dataset from JMP:

Save prediction formula column, and use Contour Plots platform (Graph>Contour Plot). Specify as Y your prediction formula and your inputs as X variables, and check the option "Fill Areas". From there, you should have a similar visualisation, with other options in the red triangle (like "Show data points" that I used in the following capture):

I think the difference in your plots are linked to the fact that in one case you're using predicted values (contour plot figure a), and in the other you're using only measured values (figure b).

Hope these options will help you,

contour plot design

hi all,

thanks for help in my previous questions. everything worked very well and now i reached the data analysis.

so i could plot my data in contour plot (figure a) but when i wanted to get it shaded, i went to graph and selected contour plot but the shap was completely different (figure b).

figure a

figure b

how to get figure a but in colo shades like in figure b??? as it is easier for eyes when reading the conclusion of data.

thanks and appreciated

I don't think what you want is a Contour Plot. Looking at your data, I think you want to use the Fill Under option on your Graph Builder Line chart.

thanks for your reply but i didnt find the option in drop-down menue. may be because it is student edition. but i managed to diferentiate at least the range i am looking for in my experiment conditions.
