JMP19 needs a lot longer for database queries

Dear all,

using JMP 19 I found now, that it needs a lot longer doing database queries via ODBC.

See below screenshot,

using one ODBC connection (that includes authentication)

JMP19 needs 50 s for the first connection and 25 s for following ones when connection is establisched
JMP18 needs 25 s for the first connection and less than 1 s for following queries

When using a more simple ODBC connection (with UID+PWD):

JMP19 needs 11 s for first connection and ~ 5 s for following ones
JMP18 needs 8 s for first, and ~ 1 s for following ones

I already informed support about that, they recognized, but there was'nt a solution or explanation why there is that difference.

Has anyone made similar experience? How to you work with this?

Having such high response time, it does not make any sense to write an interface that collects information from database before start. Thats a big drawback for me.

We haven't yet moved to JMP19 as it has so many issues/changes which affect users/scripts (we are waiting at least for 19.0.1). After we have JMP19 ready for testing purposes, I will perform some similar tests with our databases and if JMP19 is much slower, we will most likely either stay in JMP18 or possibly we start performing the SQL queries in some other way.
