I think "current credentials" (as Power BI puts it) or SSO is Kerberos, which would imply that that user doesn't have rights to the Pi Server.

"alternate credentials" (as Power BI puts it) is NTLM, which JMP is introduced in JMP 19. You can try it out in the JMP 19 EA (if that's still available)

Hi

I am trying to connect to an Aveva PI web API

PI Web API Reference

None of the authentication methods will work.

Using Power BI I need to use windows authentication with alternate credentials.

Tried putting in the authentication credential that works in Power BI in the basic without success.

Is there a way to solve this using the alternate credentials for the jmp interface?

Best regards
Alf Martin Farbrot
