Hi @Eugénio_FMendes,

There are certainly customers in the QA and QC areas that use JSL scripts and workflows as part of their validated environment. There are a few considerations for how a workflow can be validated and would require some collaboration with your quality department and IT to look through documents such as JMPs Quality Statement to understand how JMP is evaluated.

For the workflow, just like a script it can be locked off so that it is 'play only' and you can add in your own steps to have scripts that track the computer name or the date/time that the request was filled.

I'm sure others in community have more details they can provide, but I wanted to give you an idea of what's possible.

Thanks,

Hi community,

We are thinking about developing a "Workflow" script in JMP to facilitate data analysis in QC environment.

However I have a few questions....

Does anyone know if workflows are currently being used as a tool in other QC labs?

Does anyone have an idea how they ensure traceability using a workflow? (for example, associated to the results output (normally another datatable) having an output with the user name that performed the analysis, the source datatable, versioning of the workflow, etc?)

To what level would we need to verify/validate a workflow script? (is it an extensive validation, in another platform like R, for example?)

Looking forward to your impressions!

Kind regards,

Sara
