Notifications seem flaky

I have notices lately that the indicator circle is not very accurate. It will either not show up even when new discussions have been added to a track that I have been interacting with, or it may display a numerical value, that when I query it, there are more entries than the number that was displayed. Also, when first viewing the screen, the indicator circle is taking a long time to resolve.

Additionally, the solutions are not always appearing in my Notification feed. Both the ".....has accepted a solution" and "Your reply got accepted as solution" are not always being populated.

Are the Community administrators aware of these issues?

Hi @txnelson We are not aware there have been issues with the notifications. Approximately how long has this been occurring? Do you have example posts that we could use to investigate? Are you receiving email notifications about the solutions? Thanks.

This has been happening for the past 3-4 weeks.

As a recent example, my response to

"How to get new column to populate cycles in large data set for multiple cycles on the same sample?"

was set as the solution, however in my Notification Feed it is not listed.

@txnelson Have you been experiencing any issues with the notification feed lately? Is the issue isolated to the notification feed or are you not receiving the email as well? Thanks.

I have not been experiencing non notifications(email) any more. I received emails before seeing the notification counter on the Discussion page, and then after I have clicked on the discussion entry the email was pointing to, the notification counter will refresh with the new activity. That just seems to be a slow response issue.
