Shape files for the Periodic Table of Elements

I created the shape files for the Periodic Table of Elements. The shapes can be referenced by the name of each element. The shape files are called PeriodicTable-Name.jmp and PeriodicTable-XY.jmp.  I also uploaded a Periodic Table of Elements Example that uses the shape files, called PeriodicTable.jmp. In fact I created the sample data table first. It includes the group and period for each element which I used to generate the shapes. I wrote some JSL to generate the Periodic Table of Elements. As always, you can drop the shape files in your user map area and JMP will find them automatically.

Hi John,

Thanks.  This is very cool.

Someone just asked about Periodic Table Map in the user community.
