in JMP Version 16.2.0, I have several CDF plots in one window, if i want to copy the Y-axis of 1st plot and paste to all of plots at one shot, how can i do it?  i dont want to paste it one by one, i want to paste all of them at one shot. in general, we use "Ctrl" button to make it,  like as paste the Y-axis for Biv fit plots, but for CDF plot, if we do the same way, the X-axis settings are also pa...

  • New instance of JMP® is opened each time a new file is opened

Hi everyone,   I've searched around and found some solutions to the problem that I am having, but none of them have seem to worked for me, so I thought I would just ask again to see if anyone might have some additional insight.   I help train colleagues at our company in using JMP and one problem that we regularly encounter is that if someone opens a file from Windows Explorer while they already h...

  • JMP application icons

In all previous versions, each JMP file type had its own icon (eg *.jmp, *.jmpprj, jsl etc). This was quite handy when viewing the recent files pane in JMP since each was readily identifiable.  On installation of JMP 19, the software, for whatever reason, did not create a program association for jmp files  To correct that problem, I made the manual connection of a JMP data table file to the softwa...

  • Method for Confidence Bands in JMP Residual Normal Quantile Plots

Hello everyone, I’m curious about the statistical method used to generate the confidence bands in the residual normal quantile plot within JMP. Could anyone share the underlying approach, such as whether it’s based on parametric, nonparametric, or bootstrap methods? Any insights into the calculation principles or technical details would be greatly appreciated!   JMP PRO 17.1.0

  • How to round Show Grand Mean on a chart?

I've created a variability chart, but is there a way to round the resulting Show Grand Mean? It defaults to 10 decimal places which stretches the chart out horizontally. I'd like it to round to say 2 decimal places:

    chartVar = Variability Chart(
    Y(:YVALUE),
    X(:XVALUE),
    Show Grand Mean,
    ...
    any help appreciated. thx, dj

  • How Can I Make Publication Quality Labels For Trellis Plots?

Using JMP 19.3. I have a trellis plot (constructed using graph builder) that requires modifying the Y group edge titles and font sizes. I've checked the plot properties and reviewed the JSL script associated with plot and did not see where those might be modified. I can change the data table column ID's (though not ideal) to fix the label names but I do not see a way to modify the font. Exporting ...

  • WINDOWS > JMP 17.2 > Custom Report Window > Save Presentation ==> Only portion saved to PPTX

Hi JMP Community, I built a simple report with a graph builder plot, a multicolumn text section, and a summary section (see below)  that I would like to export to PowerPoint. While I can save this report as a PDF without any problems, when I save it as a Presentation/PowerPoint manually or within the script, JMP generates slides that only contain the plot section and none of the text (GO GENES and...

  • How do I get z-scores for each protein in the Longitudinal dataset? (JMP Pro 18 Free Student Edition)

For context, I am running analyses on a proteomics experiment. I have two datasets: Intraday (comparing AM to PM), and Longitudinal (comparing Day 0 to Day 30 to Day 90) for protein concentration. For Intraday, I have 600 proteins I am looking at. For Longitudinal, I have 68. I want to find out the magnitude of change between the time points for each protein, so I am trying to find z-scores. I am ...
